Ingredients:
(servers 2)
- Quick-cook Beef - cut into bite size pieces
- Chinese five spice powder - 1 tsp (or make your own with equal quantities
of star anise, fennel seeds, cinnamon, cloves & Szechuan pepper)
- Ginger - 1 inch finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves finely chopped
- A selection of vegetables such as:
- Mushrooms - quartered
- Baby sweetcorn
- Pepper - chopped into sticks
- Spring Onions - handfull chopped
- Pak Choy - chopped
- Oyster Sauce - 2 tbsp
- Soy Sauce - 2 tbsp (or Ketchup Manis)
- Oil for frying

Method:
- Cut the beef up and coat it in the five spice powder
- Fry the beef, ginger and garlic in oil until the beef is nearly
done and set aside
- Stir fry the vegetables in oil for a few minutes until nearly done
to your liking
- Add the beef back and then add the Oyster sauce and soy sauce
- Continue frying until everything is done and well coated in sauce
