Bantay Srei & River Carvings

Just an hours drive on the back of a motorbike north of Angkor Wat lies Bantay Srei, a temple of red standstone and magnificent carvings covering nearly every surface. Go slightly further north again and you get to the Kulen mountains and 2 river carving sites one of which is shown here. The road is recently tarmaced and the sites free from land mines and rebel soldiers.
